FORT MYERS, Fla. – Commercial Window Shield has completed a fragment retention window film installation project for a Michigan and Florida-based construction company in a Fort Myers building housing a federal government agency. Owens-Ames-Kimball has been doing a buildout of one floor of a two-story building for client Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives [ATF]. As part of the project, Commercial Window installed a 7-mil security film with a four-sided wet glaze attachment system to the exterior glass. Additionally, the company installed an 8-mil security film with a two-sided mechanical attachment system to the interior windows. The combination of the two security films will provide superior protection to all ATF windows.
