The sun gives light and energy but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. That's why you see more homes these days with tinted windows that provide protection from the sun's glare. The technology continues to evolve and today homeowners have a number of options to protect their property and improve their living environment. The Many Benefits of Commercial Window Tinting

The misconception that window tinting is only for cars could not be further from the truth. Window tinting can be done in the home as well as in office buildings. Commercial tinting comes with many benefits and is a very cost-effective way to modify a building. Some key benefits include: Security & Privacy Some businesses require more security than others; however, even customers sitting in a café will enjoy the privacy that tinted windows can provide. Banks and other financial institutions especially could benefit from the increased security , as well as places where people seek help or visit for personal reasons, such as a doctor's office or clinic. A patient may feel more at ease knowing that tinted windows are shielding him or her from outside eyes. Furthermore , window film offers protection against crime, vandalism , and severe weather. In the event of a storm or break-in, the film can hold together broken panes of glass, preventing injury and deterring crime.

Window Film Can Also Protect Your Building From Bugs

Owners of commercial buildings or large homes often opt to keep certain lights in and around the building 24 hours a day. This decision is typically made for security reasons, but one of the drawbacks of this choice is that the lights attract several different bugs-most notably, the stinkbug. Luckily, commercial window film can help combat any unfortunate infestations . The Source of the Problem When commercial lights are left on at all hours, they tend to generate significant amounts of heat, even if they are energy-efficient bulbs. Bugs are attracted to the warmth and glow of most of these commercial lights and are particularly apt to gravitate towards buildings during the night. Inevitably , they will then find their way into the building through a crack in the wall and make themselves at home . Commercial Window Tint as a Solution Window tint works to keep out bugs by blocking out some of the light emitted from the buildings. The lights will remain on for building securit

Window Films for Business Buildings

Modern business buildings tend to have a lot of glass. Whether it is because of glass paneling that this so common nowadays, or simply the fact that there are many more windows , these buildings tend to face more issues related to glass than other structures . For instance, too much heat due to sunlight and glare translates into escalating energy bills. There are different types of window films, designed to combat several problems related to glass. When it comes to sun control, there are tinted films that can reduce the intensity of sunlight entering through the window. This not only prevents glares but also keeps the temperature from rising , which results in lower energy consumption. Tinted films are also used in situations where privacy is needed. Offices, clinics, and other spaces can benefit from tinted glass films on partitions and other transparent surfaces. Glass is an inherently fragile material . Toughened glass is available, and is indeed used in many commercial build
