HITT Hires CWS For Decorative/Privacy Window Installation Project For Government Tenant

  ARLINGTON, Va. – HITT Contracting has hired  Commercial Window Shield for a decorative privacy window film installation project for a federal government agency in suburban Washington, D.C.   The project, for the Department of Commerce’s Office of the Inspector General, involves the installation of a special dual gradient decorative window film on all glass office fronts and conference rooms of one floor of a building at 2800 S. Randolph St. in Arlington. Once installed, the band of film runs across the center of the glass. It’s more opaque in the center and fades to clear above and below the film band.   The privacy window film installation is Phase 2 of a project that began with HITT completing a buildout of the floor occupied by the Inspector General Office.   Commercial Window Shield will begin its privacy window film installation project in mid-to-late September.    The company has had a close working relationship with HITT since 2008, having completed numerous window

CWS Retained by N.C. Manufacturer For Security Window Film Installation Project

  CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Commercial Window Shield has been hired by one of the country’s leading manufactures of residential doors to install safety and security window film at its corporate headquarters.   Masonite, a division of fiberglass giant Owens Corning, had an issue with vandals tossing bricks through its ground floor building windows after business hours, forcing them to replace the costly glass on more than one occasion. Masonite retained Commercial Window Shield to thwart the vandals and protect its windows. The company will install 8-mil safety and security window film with a 4-sided wet glaze attachment system on all ground floor glass.
