PINELLAS
PARK, Fla. – Commercial Window Shield has been named dealer of the year FOR
2019 by Madico, one of the world’s leading film manufacturers.
The award
was presented to the company on Feb. 12 during the grand opening of Madico’s
new world headquarters.
In citing
Commercial Window Shield as its top dealer, Madico said: “We are recognizing
the window film dealer with outstanding sales growth while providing excellent
customer service.”
The
company went on to say the intent of the award is “to pay tribute to their
accomplishments and for representing our brand with distinction.”
Commercial
Window Shield and Madico have forged a close relationship over the past decade
in the production and installation of security window films. As building
security around the country has ramped up due to an increase in domestic and
international terrorism, window security has become a vital issue.
Commercial
Window Shield has been at the forefront of glass protection since the first
security window films were developed following the bombing of the federal
building in Oklahoma City in 1995 in which numerous people were killed or
injured by flying glass.
Since then,
the company has installed fragment retention window film on some of the
country’s most well-known buildings, including the U.S. Capitol, all House of
representative buildings, Grand Central Terminal, the Willis [former Sears]
Tower, O’Hare International Airport, the United Nations, the Washington
Convention Center and the Philadelphia and Denver mints.
In
addition to its expertise in shatter resistant and solar control window film
installation, Commercial Window Shield also is a leading installer of privacy,
RF, smart, switchable and anti-bird strike films.
