CK Construction Hires CWS for Security/RF Shielding Film Installation Project

METRO WASHINGTON, D.C. – CK Commercial has retained Commercial Window Shield for a window film installation project for a high-security tenant in the metropolitan Washington area. The project involves installing a fragment retention version of Radio Frequency [RF] Shielding Film on a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility [SCIF]. These secure spaces are accredited by the U.S. government for handling, storing and discussing sensitive compartmented information. In total, Commercial Window Shield will be installing 1,300 sq. ft. of a thicker version of the normal RF film which will also include a wet glaze attachment system. The film’s bomb blast resistance component will hold the SCIF’s glass in place in the event of a terrorist or other attack involving explosives.
